Host organisation: Liceul Tehnologic Agricol “Mihail Kogalniceanu” Miroslava
Place: Miroslava, Romania
Date: 4th – 6th December 2017
The main goals of the transnational project meeting in Romania were the following ones:
- planning the preparatory phase;
- making clear arrangements for the project concerning cooperation, communication and activity plans;
- discussing practicalities such as Mobility Tool as well as the content of the LTTAs and the project meeting days;
- determining dissemination and evaluation plans;
- designing the project calendar.
-
Participating countries:
- Romania (host country, 2 teachers: Mr Ovidiu Avarvarei, Mrs Ana Maria Dumitrescu)
- Greece (2 teachers: Mr Konstantinos Arampatzoglou, Mrs Eirini Stampouloglou)
- Italy (2 teachers: Mrs Rita Mele, Mrs Nicoletta Raineri)
- Poland (2 teachers: Mrs Monika Zając, Mrs Alina Dziegieć)
- Turkey (no representatives)
The agenda of the meeting:
- COOPERATION PLAN (determining the expectations of the project and the role of each partner – their hopes, involvement and experience; a set of common tasks was assigned to each member of the project while the coordinating school was given additional duties)
- COMMUNICATION PLAN (establishing deadlines and communication plans among partners and teachers-students-host families: e-mails, Facebook group, WhatsApp group, Skype meetings, Instagram, Snapchat, eTwinning and Website)
- MOBILITY TOOL (collaboration, management and reporting for mobility projects under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission)
- ACTIVITY PLAN (determining the objectives and main activities of the project, making preparatory arrangements for the first meeting in Poland, establishing the days for the first meeting in Poland and for the second one in Romania)
- DISSEMINATION PLAN (creating the dissemination plan and its impact - local, national, international);
- EVALUATION PLAN (determining the resources, activities, objectives, results and impact).
The outcomes:
We decided to organise the first LTTA meeting in Poland instead of Greece because the Greek partner is also involved in another Erasmus+ project and because of logistical reasons it would be difficult for them to prepare two LTTA meetings in their country which were planned at the same time. The Polish team accepted the swap. Also, the distance is the same and there won’t be any changes in the activities. The Turkish partner didn’t participate in the project meeting which raised our fears. The only information we received at that moment was that they hadn’t signed the financial agreement and hadn’t been given the grant yet. What’s more, they hadn’t applied for the visa in order to travel to Romania. That’s why, we made a common decision to create a letter to the Romanian National Agency asking for help and clarification on this matter. In order to try and respect the deadlines, we reallocated the tasks of the Turkish team: the Greek team took the responsibility for making the eTwinning platform and the Italian team took the responsibility for making the website.
The Greek team presented the logo of the project and promised to create a Gmail address for everybody's use. We also decided to respond to each other’s emails within 2-3 days. Also, during the meeting the Polish team presented the suggestions about selecting the students for the project. All the project members agreed upon the established rules. The Polish partner committed themselves to sending other partners the transparent criteria after the transnational project meeting in Romania.
