Let's celebrate World Kindness Day and make it a very special day at our schools, a day to remember and to repeat.
Suggestions:
- Leaving post it notes and stick them on the mirrors of the toilets in our schools: "Thank you", "Please...", "Good morning"...
- Teachers write short messages for their students, praising them and leave these messages on their students' desks, before the students enter the classroom;
- Having a Kindness Challenge at the school libraries: students are invited to do kind actions during a week, when they perform the action they are given an emoticon/smile to stick on their notebooks;
- Building a Kindness chain / creating the Kindness Tree (each class will be given a leaf where they write Kindness means .../ Being kind is to..., all the leaves will form the tree of kindness);
- At the libraries students will listen to /read stories about kindness;
