Final transnational meeting in Tenerife

  • 13th -15th June, 2018

Last week we met for the last time in Tenerife in order to conduct the last of organizational meetings. Those were busy days and time flew! We are both thrilled and sad the project is coming to an end. On the one side, we are thrilled because our work will finally come into the light for the whole educational community in Europe. On the other side, we are sad because our years of cooperation and mutual inspiration are about to conclude.

On Wednesday, we carried out the heavy load of work; we devoted the whole morning to work at the teacher training centre. We focused on the final touches of the webpage and on the final report, as well as on some aspects regarding the budget.

The next day we moved to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island, to meet the Regional Board of Education in the Canary Islands and we interviewed with the Vice-chancellor of Education and members of the Office of European Programmes in the region. We could explain our project and we could show them our webpage, which is almost finished. Afterward, we did a short trip to Las Teresitas Beach, where we had a quick swim and we enjoyed a typical lunch.

On Friday, we visited the teacher training centre in La Laguna, where most advisors of the Canary Islands were meeting. The visiting partners could meet some of the advisors and see the facilities and how advisor meetings work. After that, we enjoyed a visit to La Laguna. It is a World Heritage City, due to the fact that its layout was exported to South America.
