The first meeting in Tenerife took place from the 30th January to the 3rd February. On Monday we focused on discussing and revising the objectives of the project and in enjoying the Spanish culture in the evening. Tuesday and Wednesday were devoted to visiting four schools in the southern area of the island in order to have a deeper insight on methodologies such as Gamification, Thinking-Based Learning (TBL), and Cooperative Learning.

 On Thursday we met in the teacher training center to carry out several workshops. The Swedish team combined lecturing about their educational system, as well as about their school organization with some cooperative techniques.The Polish team presented three micro-workshops. The first one was about the use of the lapbook in the classroom, the two other were about micro-teaching techniques in the English classroom.

 Finally, on Friday we visited the town hall and spent some time discussing the activities for the next visit in Sweden. There was also time for feedback on the whole week, but the main point was presenting the first training course, which was created following the pattern we devised in the design thinking session we carried out in Poland.  

                                                                 

In the afternoons we did some team building activities and culture immersion such as whale watching, a visit to Teide National Park and eating paella at the beach. Some of us even took a dip in the sea.
