    • LESSON 2: implementing interactive communication situations between pupils

      During the meeting, teachers could attend a second CLIL lesson (geometry/german) about how to implement interactive communication situations between pupils in a french kindergarten. This lesson is part of a CLIL module/sequence about : recognizing geometrical shapes

      Here is the double objective (in geometry (shapes) and in german (colours, size, how to ask a question) and the steps to reach it :

      The observed lesson is the third step of this stair. Pupils had to ask questions to produce the same poster as their friends one (shapes and colours). They had to use some transversal skills too like finding a strategy to reach the goal the fastest possible and so never ask twice the same question or ask an unnecessary question (each colour was used only once!). This lesson is part of a sequence/module as shown in the following stair and was done after some lessons about recognizing and naming the shapes.
