    In November our teachers in pairs work on sequences of CLIL lessons in orded to create a booklet or video promoting our city or region.

    Grade 1 is going to create a video about our city - Monika and Anna

    Grade 2 is going to create a booklet about our cite and its closest neighbourhood - Iwona and Anna (Karolina)

    Grade 3 is going to create a booklet promoting our Lubusz region - Ewa and Agnieszka.​

    FRANCE   

    As Céline ( our german teacher) uses CLIL anyway in her usual practice every day, we decided to use the CLIL tools to improve our pupils communication skills in french. We focused especially on how to improve the vocabulary of our pupils with difficulties and special needs.

    We organised our oldest pupils (5 years old) in 3 groups and worked with on :

    - learning vocabulary to describe our landscape (mainly through games)

    -creating a brochure and a video to present Alsace to our European friends.

    Here is how we present the project to our pupils.

    Step 1 : We went for a walk the nereby forest and vineyard, we observed, decribed, collected elements and played games to memorize the vocabulary. At the same time we took pictures and vidéos to prepare the brochure and video about Alsace

    Step 2 : We had 3 groups switching in the afternoon, with Marielle pupils worked again on the vocabulary, with Christelle they had to create the brochure following a task grid, this was a group work. They needed 3 lessons of 20 min to get the ready brochure.

                                              

    Step 3 : With Marielle they should rebuild a typical Alsatian landscapes, asking each other acurate questions. The aim for the teacher was to create interactive communication situations. With Christelle they made the scipt of the vidéo using all the knoledges they now have about Alsace.

    Step 4 : They watched the vidéo about Alsace created from their script.

    Step 5 : They will watch the vidéos about Italy, Poland and Sweden prepared by their European friends.
