Students from Greece tried to paint Artegna's Castle from Italy using the Cubism technique.
A well known painter from Alexandroupoli, Mrs. Maria Sidiropoulou visited our school and students had the chance to attend a workshop during which Mrs. Sidiropoulou explained to them how the artistic style begun, its representatives and the specific characteristics it has.
Students decided to use their colorful pencils to paint Artegna's Castle and then to share their paintings with teachers and other schoolmates letting them vote.
Teachers had to fill in a questionnaire...
and other schoolmates voted onsite.
The winner Cubism painting of Artegna's Castle stands here
and students from 5th and 6th grade prepared a video explaining the Cubism technique
