    AFTER GEMONA'S CAMP IN NAVÀS

    15TH June, INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS AFTERNOON AT SANT JOSEP SCHOOL

    Our presentation to parents

    15th June from 15:00 to 17: parents, students and teachers met together to celebrate the end of the school year International projects.Students of Grade 6 presented their Erasmus + project "Kids conquering Castles"Students had the chance to show to the school community all their collaborative work along the school year:- Elections Campaign, Christmas videoconferences, the prototypes, market study, video tutorials, advertisements...- The 8 pupils who travelled to Gemona also told them their experience there and finally, we went don to the playgrounds to play " Mini Palio" games learned in Gemona and made a mini exhibition of the products sold in Italy and made by the students who stayed in navàs during the LTTA Camp in Gemona.

     

    We had great fun and Parents congratulated us for this wonderful task and encouraged us to keep working collaboratively with the European schools as a big team!

    Finally, they got an award which was a certificate, a KCC blue bag and a keychain with the carving of Castell de Balsareny.

    And can you guess what did we do with the money we earned from the market?

    YES! WE GAVE IT TO THE WWF AND ADOPTED A PANDA BEAR!

    We feel proud of doing such a good thing to end up our KCC project's participation!

    Tuesday 26th February

     

    Eight students from grade 6 on a Teacher trainer course called "Obrim un projecte eTwinning" 

    STUDENTS FROM SANT JOSEP SCHOOL PRESENT

    KIDS CONQUERING CASTLES

    TO A TEACHER TRAINING SESSION IN SERVEIS TERRITORIALS CATALUNYA CENTRAL, DEPARTAMENT EDUCACIÓ GENERALITAT DE CATALUNYA

     

    The students presented some cooperative and collaborative activities done with their European partners. They also showed the teachers a wide range of 2.0 tools they have learnt thanks to the project, for example: Green Screen for " Telling the castle", Genially to make the 6 castles presentations, Forums to comment and discuss our opinions, Padlet, Google forms, Canva, Postermywall, videoconferences, etc.

     

     

    The primary and secondary teachers felt so happy and grateful with those students who became little teachers for a while!"

     

    CONGRATULATIONS DEAR GIRLS!

    You brought KIDS CONQUERING CASTLES to the highest level of the Catalan Education teacher training events!

     

    5th March 2019,

    KIDS CONQUERING CASTLES PRESENTED AS AN ERASMUS+  GOOD PRACTICE PROJECT IN

    CESIRE, Departament d'Ensenyament Genaralitat de Catalunya.

     

    Fina Vendrell, the coordinator of the project in Col·legi Sant Josep de Navàs, presented KIDS CONQUERING CASTLES  in a teacher training session about Erasmus+ projects. 

    She could tell the participants the main goals of this project, apart from showing how the project has been planned, disseminated and in which way it can be transfered. The impact of the project was also explained to the participants.

    II INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS AFTERNOON

    Everything ready to present our project to the school community. Here is the poster and the presentation we prepared using " Canva" 2.0 tool:

    What an incredible experience! KCC presented to families and the whole school community!

    Students had the chance to share and explain their experiences with KCC all along the school year and of course, the wonderful experience of Berlin Camp!

    It was amazing to see them excited and enjoying while they talked about their best memories of the project, which, according to them, will be kept for the rest of their lives!

    At hte end of the presentation a certificate of participation was given to them, and also a KCC bag as a gift!
