Job Shadowing Observation Forms

  •

Visiting a foreign school is always a rewarding experience, but entering in a class during lessons can be really an eye-opening one! Even we have been teaching for a while, to see the class situation from the outside helps in understanding many aspects which go undetected if we are delivering the lesson ourselves:

    - eye relations

    - gestures

    - tone of voice

    - general noise

    - postiion of the students

    - use of didactic material

    - use of ITC

    - methodology.

These two forms will help you conduct your observations and take notes at the same time. Data can be used statistically to show trends and habits or can be the starting point for a discussion between teachers to understand how things are working.

And remember: we are here to learn, not to judge!
