In Italian schools Citizenship is a transversal subject: it means that any and all subjects must contribute to the growing ot the student as an individual and a member of society.

Citizenship is not only boring lessons devoted to the reading of the Italian Constitution or to the presentation of European Institutions, it is more a reflection of contemporary issues , such as the 2030 Sustainable Goals or Humar Rights.

This class partecipated to the National Competition "L'Europa è nelle tue mani", organized by the Ministry of Education in 2022.

They prepared a video against gender gap: "Volere è potere, non una questione di genere!", which reads "When there is a will, there is a way: it is not a gender issue!"

The choice of the subject was due to the fact that the class is maily made of boys and the relation between the two groups are not idyllic... Working together, focusing on gender equality, they overcame the initial hotilities and..... won one of the prizes! Well done, Kids!
