Why going abroad and visit a school, rather than museums and monuments?
Simply because you can visit a city as a tourist any time, but you can only visit a school, take part in its everyday life, meet the staff only once in a lifetime and only if your school has submitted an Erasmus Project about Teachers' mobility!
We are very proud to say that this opportunity has been offered to teachers working at Liceo Aristotele since 2015: this is the third Erasmus Project we have been funded and more than 30 teachers have already had the possibility to spend a week abroad, either participating to a training course or taking part in a job shadowing project.
We've been working on different themes: CLIL and bilingua education, ITC and digital competencies, internationalization and inclusion, European dimension and Global skills for study and occupation.

Some other reasons to go?
- explore how schools are organized in other countries: spaces, laboratories, services, time management;
- see how teaching works behind the door, directly in the classroom;
- meet teachers, listen to their stories and their everyday problems;
- collect teaching materials, exchange ideas and good practice;
- meet pupils from different countries, talk to them: they'll ask any kind of questions!
- invite your partners to visit your school, offering your colleagues and pupils a great opportunity to have Europe come to their classroom
- create great network links, to be continue in the next project, and the next, and the next...
