    December 6th - Trader’ Day

On the eve of the Orthodox holiday of St. Nicholas students from 10th grade specialty "E-commerce" in Profesionalna gimnazia Asen Zlatarov - Vidin put their future professional holiday - Trader’ Day.

Tradition says that Saint Nicholas unnoticed threw three purses of gold into the house of an impoverished merchant, to be able to marry his three daughters to save them from dishonor. Therefore, it is considered the patron saint of family, guardian of the home, property and goods.

The theme of goods and stocks were in the limelight of students in an hour "Economics of Trade". To clarify the concept of "speculative stocks", problems and possible ways of solving them, students were introduced to the purposes and principles of the worldwide movement "Fair Trade". A good example to promote through teaching material in the context of the goals and objectives of the project "Enhanced Skills, Competence And Practice for the Economy" ("ESCAPE"), funded by the EU Erasmus +.

In a role-playing game "(No) fair trade" worked 5 teams of three people.

What is the logo of the movement "Fair Trade," which authorities certify goods, where do funds go after the sale, should traders and producers be in solidarity? Questions that are asked now as clients and responses will be given in the future - as good professionals in the trade!
