LET US INTRODUCE OURSELVES  -  HERE WE ARE  -  PARTNERS FROM ERASMUS+ ESCAPE PROJECT 2014-17

    LINZ, AUSTRIA

    VIDIN, BULGARIA

We are a team of eighteen people in 8th,9th and 10th classes. We go to Vocational school “Prof. Dr Asen Zlatarov”, Vidin, Bulgaria. Our studying fields are economics and tourism.  We study two languages - English and we have a choice between Russian and German. We love travelling. In our free time we usually go out with friends or do some sports. Everybody has a hobby. Some boys play football, go cycling or skateboarding. Some girls play volleyball, do athletics or go swimming. We are friendly, helpful and we love making friends and having fun.

    TÁBOR, CZECH REPUBLIC

We go to Commercial High School in Tábor, Czech Republic. Our class is called 1.L. The letter L is for lycée, which is where we are studying. In our class there are 30 people, 26 girls and only 4 boys. Funny is that almost one third of our class has the same name - Tereza. A half of class is from Tábor, and a half from the neighborhood, but not so much far.  And only one girl is in the boarding-house.

At the beginning of September we were at a START camp together, where we got to know each other. Our studying field is economics and tourism, therefore we are studying two languages (of course English and we have a choice between Russian, French, and German). Everybody loves travelling. Maybe this is the reason, why we´ve chosen this field.

We spend holidays a lot in foreign countries, for example at the sea. This January we are going to Austria for a skiing week with our school, so it’s amazing and we are really looking forward to going there. And in our free time we usually go out with friends, read, travel, learn things or do some sports. We are a very sporty class.

Everybody has a hobby. The boys do football, cycling and they like floorball and these sports. George- one of the boys, plays  three instruments (electric guitar, drums and keyboard) . Most of girls do dance, volleyball, athletics, or for example- motocross, handball, gymnastics, jachting, or playing a musical instrument. Someone goes to classical dancing lessons, but most of our class will go next year.

We think that we will be a very good team as we are friendly, funny, kind and honest to each other.

    PÁPA, HUNGARY

    LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA

We go to Ekonomska šola Ljubljana (High School of Economics), one of the oldest schools teaching economics in Slovenia. We are classes 2.D and 2.F. In our school we can choose between three languages (Spanish, German or Italian) and English, which is compulsory language.

Everyone has a different personality and because of the diversity we get along better and we are more productive because there are so many ideas. Most of the classmates are from Ljubljana but some are from more remote villages. At the beginning of 1st year it took some time for us to start getting along but soon things worked out. Now we are always very happy, we like to laugh, joke and we're always full of energy. That's the main reason we're teachers’ least favourite students because they can't tame us. But at the end of the day, when we want to achieve something, we will do anything to achieve it. We stick together and help those whohave bad grades.

We are also into sports, half of the class plays sports, for example football, volleyball, swimming, basketball etc. We also travel a lot. Every year we visit different countries. Some classmates attend many competitions in Maths, Slovene, English, Spanish and even sports.

We are happy to be a part of this experience!

    LUGOJ, ROMANIA

Hello, I'm Miriam from Coriolan Brediceanu Highschool, Lugoj, Romania. Our town lies in West Romania, and it is quite small, but despite that, our school took part in many important projects. Our school incourages the development of the relationships between students, bur as well between them and teachers. We organise anual a lot of activities which bring pupils together and make them work as a team and teach them how to comunicate and get to a common denominator.

Our teachers found a way to mix fun and responsability, and that's why the number of activities and participants grows every year.

I can say that my colleagues and I have participated to all of this activities so far, including this project, because we really like to know more about other cultures and we are curious about the way pupils study in other countries. We are 9th and 11th graders, we study intensively computers and English language, we are friendly, curious, and funny and can’t wait to meet you all.

    ŠTÚROVO, SLOVAKIA

Sturovo is situated in southern Slovakia, on the border of Hungary. It is a little town with the population around 11000. The majority of the population is ethnic Hungarian and speak Hungarian as mother tongue.

Our region is known for its beautiful nature and its thermal bath Vadas. On the Slovak part is our town Sturovo(Párkány), and on the Hungarian part is Esztergom, which is a historical town.  The Danube is the border. The towns are connected with a bridge, called Mária Valéria bridge. It was destroyed during the II. World War. The reconstruction of the bridge finished in the year of 2001. Before that, we needed to take a ferry, if we wanted to cross the border.

Our school is a bilingual school, it consists of Hungarian and Slovak classes. We already have experience with similar projects(Comenius, eTwinning). We have a lot of subjects, like maths, physics, chemistry etc. We have 4 languages: Hungarian, Slovak, English and German are compulsory. We choose between German and English, as the main foreign language. Our school is known for its basketball team as well.

    KHUST, UKRAINE

Hello, everybody! We are a team of 11 students. We study at specialized school with profound learning of English. It is the largest school in our district. We live in a small but very nice town that is called Khust. It is situated in Transcarpathia, one of the most beautiful places in Ukraine. We enjoy spending time together. We go on excursions and trips to other places. Last year we went to Lviv (it is concidered to be Ukrainian Prague). The city is worth seeing. It was cool and we had a lot of fun during the journey. Now we are school-leavers and are busy preparing for our final exams but it doesn't mean we don't enjoy the life as it is. All my pupils have different hobbies. The boys - Illia and Yuriy go in for boxing. The girls enjoy sports and reading books, listening to music; some of them like biology, the others aer fond of languages. One of the girls - Alina, is very good at painting; she's creative, imaginative and very romantic. All of us took part in a few projects in Twin Space and like doing it a lot. Here we have made many new friends. We hope for productive cooperative work and new impressions in this project, and of course, we're looking forward to meeting new friends!
