In the earthquake in Lorca (Spain) on May 11, 2011, the shallow depth at which the main earthquake occurred, 1.5 kilometers under the city, and the directivity that caused the 'crushing' of all seismic waves in the same direction towards the La Viña neighborhood, multiplied the destructive potential of the 5.1 magnitude earthquake. An event present in all national and international media for many days.
