Journal 1st day: March 16th

Today has been a really tiring day. First of all, we have taken breakfast with the rest of the boys and girls that come from different countries (Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Turkey). Two hours later, we all have taken the bus to the German school, an incredible building. There, they have shown us the different parts of the building, and the outside too. After that, they (some students from the German school) have done an oral presentation to show us different landmarks of Lemgo, and afterwards , we have gone to eat at a mensa. Finally, we have gone to a sports hall and there we have played different games with the people from  other countries (all mixed).

Once we have finished all these, we have come back to the hostel and there we, Catalan, and Italians, have been talking and becoming good friends until we have gone to sleep.

Journal 2nd day: March 17th

Today, like yesterday, we had breakfast and then we took  the bus to the German school in Lemgo. Once there, we  heard  two  presentations. In the first one, a man and a woman from Casa Animales explained us the work they develop there. And in the second one, two workers of public administrations of Lippe's district  told us about what public administration is doing to help volunteering rise.
After that, we went to the  mensa, and once we finished we came back to school. We  started doing rabbits and hearts. When we finished, we  went to the hostel to have dinner. Then, we took a guided walk trough Detmold. The guide, told us about different landmarks of Detmold, such as a beautiful castle.
Finally,  we went back by bus to the hostel and we stayed there having fun with other people until we went to bed.

 

Journal 3rd day. March 18th

In the morning we had breakfast in the hostel and later we went to Lemgo, because we had go to a second hand market to sell the rabbits we had done the previous day, and other objects that we had brought from home. Once we finished it, the mayor of Lemgo talked to us about the city, and then we walked up stairs until we reached the top of a church tower. Later, we had  some free time to eat something, and then we stayed  in Detmold  and some of us went for a walk and others went back to the hostel.
Once we were all in the hostel, we had a free time there and later, after dinner, we went to a bowling alley in Lemgo, where we all had a great time. Finally we went back to the hostel.

Journal 4th day. March 19th

Today, after having breakfast, we went to Hameln, where we took a short guided tour of the city. The guide had told us about the history about the houses in Hameln and its legend. Then we  had a long time to buy souvenirs and eat someting. When we had arrived at the hostel there we had dinner with the people from other countries. At last we took  the bus to go to see a light show and we returned to the hostel to sleep.

Journal 5th and 6th days: March 20th and 21st

Yesterday in the morning we went to the school in Lemgo and there we had a Skype meeting  with the main vet of Casa Animales in Portugal. In it, we could ask whatever we wanted to know. Afterwards each country explained the activities uploaded on etwinning space, we showed ours. We did an evaluation of our days in the hostel. Then, we went back to the hostel, where we had a long free time before going to a Chinese restaurant. We had  a great time.
This morning we said goodbye to the friends form other countries. It was very sad and now we hope some day we will be able to meet them again.
In  afternoon we came back at home with  great memories.
