Last 20th November 2014, three volunteers of “Banc dels Aliments” (Food Bank) in Catalonia came to our high school to explain us which activities their work entails and the big collection of food that they are going to do next 27^th and 28^th November. Some students decided to be volunteers that day. They explained the two objectives of the organization: the first one is the fight against  food waste and the second one is  solidarity among people, by sharing food among them. They told to us that some years ago people thought that  hunger was very far from Europe but now it is not true because probably near us there are people who are hungry. Finally, we understand that being volunteers we can help some people for a time. This talk can help us to improve our knowledge and to face the Erasmus Project, Solidarity without frontiers.
