In Ostrava usually the first Saturday of the months you can visit a festival called "Together without barriers". Many non-profit organizations providing sevices for people with disabilities meet there and you can participate in many activities helping people or just experiencing. It also gives our students  insight in different kinds of disabilities, not only wheelchair users that they normally work with.

Klára Huvarová, who participated in a festival, wrote:

On Saturday, 8 November, I took part in very nice project called 'Together without barriers'. This day was organised by people who have a lot of experience with helping handicapped people. I was really suprised when I saw how many people were there. Together we could try lots of activities in some 'workshops' such as dancing,sinking,drumming or games with parachute, ceramics and we could see trained dogs too. Everything was amazing!
During these activities volunteers helped to very pleasant people who have some handicap and everyone was smiling there.
