We are after four years of study in a technical college in the field of freight forwarder.

Our coordinator is Edyta Mieńko, who teaches us the professional IT subject. Mrs. Aneta Słabińska, Anna Barszczewska and Beata Skupska also helped us with the design tasks. We were also supported by a group of students and teachers from our school, invited and coordinated by Edyta Mieńko.

Sebastian

As you know my name is Sebastian. I'm 19. My everyday interest is playing football. I have been playing football since I was 10. The team I play in is called Wigry Suwałki S.A. I really like hanging out with my friends in my spare time. In my free time I listen to different kinds of modern music. I also often watch football matches.

Wiktoria

Hi, my name is Wiktoria, I live in Suwałki and I go to a technical secondary school number 6 of K. Brzostowski, I am studying to be a freight forwarder . Recently, I was on an internship and served an apprenticeship where I learned to fill out various documents. The companies showed me how work looks from the inside, I like this profession more and more. I'm interested in cooking, I could do it every day, I can do almost anything, but I know I can learn even more. In my free time, I go for long walks with my dog and friends.

Natalia

I’m Natalka. I’m 19. My hobby is cooking. I like baking cakes. When I have free time I really like watching drama movies and Netflix series. I like meeting and hanging out with my friends, but now it’s not easy because of the pandemic. I can't go to visit them. Some of my friends moved out to the other city and I can’t go to them.

Jan

I am nineteen years old and go to a technical school. I like wordsearches and doing crossword puzzles. I am mostly interested in work in the warehouse in the storage area. My hobby are cycling and watching matches on TV. My favourite sports are handball, volleyball, table tennis and bowling.

Gabriel

My name is Gabriel, I have been training and playing football since I was little, I have great hopes connected with it but I try not to be addicted only to it. I like going for walks especially outside the city where I can breathe fresh air and look at the beautiful landscapes that we have a lot of. It calms me down. I am not limited to only one sport, I want to get something from all disciplines of sport. When winter comes I like to go snowboarding therefore I'm ok with low temperatures. I am a type of a person who cannot sit still for a long time, hence my interests.

Aleksandra

My name is Aleksandra. I am 19. For 4 years I have been a volunteer at the shelter in Augustów. I like sport. I go windsurfing and skiing. I like watching romantic movies especially comedies. In my free time I work on makeup, I also took up the artistic makeup.

Wojciech

Hi my name is Wojtek. My passion is football, I have been training for ten years. I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend, with ball and with my friends who I like hanging out. I study to be a freight forwarder but I’m not sure if it is my passion. I thought when I chose this area that it will be something I want to do in my life. When I was on the internship I got discouraged.

Zuzanna

Hi, my name is Zuzanna Milewska. I am 19 and live in Kowale Oleckie. Recently I have become interested in cooking and baking cakes. My hobby is cleaning, I like cleaning up and keeping things tidy. I love traveling and visiting new places. Driving a car is also a great pleasure for me, if possible, I use it every time, and especially the best for me is when I can drive a car over the long distances.

Dawid

Hello. My name is Dawid. I am 19. I live near Suwałki. I love peace and  quiet and my countryside is like that. I am learning to be a freight forwarder. A few years ago football was my passion. I trained for 6 years in the ,, Wigry Suwałki” club. Now motorization is my new passion. Reparing and driving a car or a motorbike give me a lot of satisfaction and fun. I would love to learn more difficult repairs. My second hobby is the gym. I like training my body. I want to be in a good condition, gym helps me with it. I usually go there 3-4 times  a week. In the future I want to earn for a living with motorization.

Patryk

My name is Patryk. I am nineteen years old. I am in the final year of a technical seconadry school in Suwałki. I am on the freight forwarder profile. My hobby is football and computer games. Two years ago I was on an internship in a transport company that lasted a month. I learned many things, for example how to fill out invoices and how to segregate them. It was great.

Edyta - coordinator from Suwałki

My name is Edyta Mieńko, I live and work in the north-eastern Poland in Suwałki.

I graduated from IT studies and entrepreneurship. After graduation, I worked as an IT administrator.

For eight years I have been a teacher of IT vocational subjects at the School Complex No. 6 in Suwałki. I also run club developing film passions and network skills at CISCO training courses.

I participated in the Erasmus and Power projects, during which I traveled to England as a teacher to imorove my language skills together with other interesting people from different countries.

I also ran a successful project on the Etwininng platform called "How the others learn". I have very nice memories of my cooperation with the French school.

My students are creative and open not only to new technologies, but also to interesting experiences. I want to give them the opportunity to develop their passions in contact with their peers from all over the world.

I am glad that, with the students whom I teach office techniques and who develop forwarding skills, I am able to participate in the project with you.

Hello. My name is Aneta Słabińska. I have been teaching for 27 years in just one school in Zespół Szkół nr.6 in Suwałki. I have a deegre in English philology. I graduated from the university in Gdańsk. I do like my profession, I enjoy teaching. I am trying to make English easy and useful to my students, although it is not always easy. I feel really happy and proud when my students make progres and pass their school- leaving exams. I keep my fingers crossed that they will do their best and have an opportunity to put their English into practise during this project. I hope that taking part in this project as a support to my colleague Edyta will let me gain new experience.
