Last Meeting

  • 22. 04. 2021 Necessary Skills and Instruments for Supply Chain Management project has been completed. The project, trained specific professional skills: conducting telephone conversations using non-verbal communication, writing official letters, business communication, making a presentation of the company, making a shipment in international transport. It was also an opportunity to meet interesting people, learn about the traditions of other countries and present one's own talents. The project was carried out in English. It consisted of the following online meetings:

    1. Ice breaking
    2. Christmas Time
    3. Non verbal phone communication
      1. - Phone communication
      2. - Video conference
    4. International Bussines:
      1. Ordering by website
      2. Meeting with Sales Specialist – Polish students
      3. Ordering by email
      4. Online meeting  : Summary of International Bussines
    5. Basic Instruments for Supply Chain Management
      1. website, custom’s and supplier’s database created by IT students
      2. Enter company’s details in databases by all participants
    6. Last meeting :  Basic Instruments for Supply Chain Management and  Summary of the project

    In the last meeting the participants saw how MySQL databases are created, a basic tool of many companies dealing with business (W. Piwowarski with 3bi students).

    The students compared their work results - compiled databases of real customers and contractors with eurostat statistics (K. Wszelaki);

    It was prepared a summary of the whole project (students of forwarding classes together with L. Dessus);

    Renate Wachter (a teacher from Austria) at Menti. com prepared a quiz on the knowledge of project and developed a project evaluation in which students submitted their evaluations and conclusions.

    We also made wishes for each other, which were immortalized in the form of Cloud in Menti.

    The meeting ended with a presentation by E. Mieńko (a teacher from Suwałki) - "Memories from project" - in the form of photographs, which certainly brought a smile to the faces of many participants.
