Ice breaking - first meeting

  • The first meeting: checked 😊

On Thursday, 26th November, the eTwinning project „Necessary Skills for Supply Chain Management” officially started. Because of the pandemic, the participants met online only, through the Zoom platform.

During the meeting, the students were supposed to introduce their peers from the other partner schools. Before they had had a chance to communicate through social media.

Also, the project goals were presented and the new tasks assigned. The next meeting is going to take place in December.

Four partner schools involved in vocational education participate in the project: one from Austria, one from Romania and two schools from Poland: Suwałki and Warsaw.

In the course of the project the students will be given an oppportunity to improve their soft skills: telephone skills with nonverbal communication, formal letter writing skills (using the programme Training Company). They are also going to create a customer base – a very useful tool in their future jobs.

All the tasks assigned to freight forwarder students are going to be performed with the use of IT tools created by our IT students.

Congratulations on really professional presentations to all the participants!

Good luck with the next stages of the project!
