"...The student-made video is made to encourage our partners in the face of the unprecedented pandemic this year.
The Japanese words “頑張(がんば)って” we said in the video mean “cheer up” in English.
In this video, you can not only have a quick look of our school but also listen to a song composed by our student band. The gist of lyrics means that no matter what happens, you have our support at least. Hope you will like this song and video.
Since we are keen and enthusiastic about gaining more intercultural experiences and insights, we are very happy to work with you and your students if possible. We have been doing video exchange, postcard exchange, poster exchange, and culture-box exchange with schools in Thailand and Korea. Earlier, we even did SDG-themed projects with our foreign partners.
So far, schools in Taiwan are still functioning.
We will have our winter vacation from Jan 20 to Feb 18 if COVID-19 is under control.
No matter what happens, wishing you a happy new year full of celebrations and cheers. May the new year holidays shower all of us with positivity and strength to fight the challenges COVID-19 is posing us with.
Best regards,
Chunhua
from National Lotung Senior High School, Taiwan"
