    9th October

    The pupils log in to the Twinspace and edit their profile.

     

    23rd October

    We received a parcel from France and tried to figure out how it works. Finally we produced a stop motion film because we wanted to say "Thank you" to the French students.

    And we participated in "Code week" managing to create a Yin Yang symbol with a smooth movement.

    13th November

    Our presentations are online now, except for one student who was ill.

     

    4th December

    It isn't easy to find free images and to down- and upload them on our computers, but we managed it:

    One of the students was in quarantine and was helped in the afternoon in an online session.

     

    11th December

    The last day before online-teaching. We sent some more photos to the other students, created our taijitus and answered the evaluation of quiz 1. Some even answered to the evaluation forum.

    January 2021

    During a period of home schooling we did the Step 3 and some pupils sent me a screenshot from their results in the LearningApps game for the vocabulary:

     

    12th February - During homeschooling

    We had worked on free pictures before, now it was time to consider personal pictures. For most parents it is not desirable to see pictures of their kids on the Internet, so we created avatars that can be used for profiles etc.

     

    May 14th

    After a long period of homeschooling we finished our first week back at school with the creation of a game about UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China: 

     

    We also finished the presentation of our school and our timetable.

    After a long period of renovation we are happy to be back in our old renewed school building. The address is St.-Irmengard-Gymnasium, Hauptstraße 45, 82467 Garmisch-Partenkirchen

     

    18th June 2021

    We received a parcel from Ilion - Greece while we were working on the card game to send one to each school:

    Thank you very much Ilion and the teacher Athanasia Zafeiropoulou. It was a wonderful surprise.

    The students are working hard to prepare the game.

    This project was fun to participate in, and it was interesting to see our pupils interact with pupils from different countries.

    It was so cool to learn about China! With the cultures, landscapes,etc. I´d do it again! I´ve practised the Water, Earth, Wood, Metal and Fire signs, it was so fun!
