Mindmapping in the Czech Republic

  • It is about to start working on our project. The very first step is to inform our students and parents about its existence. We really would like to be sure that students understand what the project is about. So, we talked. A lot. The discussion with our older students quickly became very fiery as well as funny. Some students asked a sort of deep questions, such as ...

Do they were socks in Turkey?

Are there any sharks in Lithuania?

Do they eat dumplings in Greece?

Many students seemed to be interested in topics related to their own interests and hobbies. They wrote questions about computer games, football, pets and so on. The biggest issue we discussed was, surprise, surprise, SCHOOL!

Do they have to go to school?

Are there a long queue in the school canteen, too?

When does the school start every day?

    Do they get marks?

Not all the questions were funny. Some of them suggested that there might be deep thoughts behind them. Students were curious whether all the countries were really free and democratic ones. They wanted to know about the quality of live there and about the impact Covid-19 had there.
