This year due the pandemic Covid -19 is not possible for Foxie to visit children's homes.
So we figure out another way so kids do not miss it out!!!!
Every Friday, 2 students at a time will have the opportunity to be defenders of the Earth.
Every student takes at home :
-
The Foxie's construction
-
A guidance letter with instructions for the parents, it will also contain the mission for the weekend
-
a super hero mask ( the pattern ) which will be cut and decorated with recycled materials ( at home with the parents ) and a waffle paper as a cape.
Every student is requested to complete the mission as described in the letter and capture it in a photograph which will be sent by the parents ( in the photograph the child will wear the mask and the cape ).
Substancially, the student is called to :
-
bring information regarding the subject we deal with at this period (e.g. power saving), the material may be printed or digital, a song, a book, a video.
-
do a “good” act to save the earth and take a picture out of this action.
Back at school
Students bring back at school the relevant information ( if the parents have already sent it, we show it digitally). The photo may be delivered either printed or sent digitally.
All pictures brought to school will be included in a file/record.
A sticker will be given as a reward ( a photo will be sent).
As students loved this idea and in our project there are also 4 more super heroes, we all decided students have the chance to know every hero in every mission!!!!
