This year we had the opportunity to create different kind of activities in order to participate in European Code week.

We also invite and other teachers to join us with our Team - The Codally Team and especially withe the project Schools Defenders of the Earth.

18o NHΠΙΑΓΩΓΕΙΟ ΑΓΙΟΥ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ

We danced to the rhythm of Climate Change by Costanzo Padovano like a robot!

We talked about the feelings of animals. We gave the animals "voice", we wonder why they feel that way, and we made a poster. We realized that people feel the same emotions and we played with them on the robot floor.

On the occasion of Van Gong's painting "The Room" and utilizing the thinking routine οf Artful Thinking  "The painting as the beginning of a story" and "Looking ten times two" we made a story with a stray dog Chari. The story was then shuffled into the robot grid and the children had to retell it and program the robot properly.

We are also so happy as write an article about "Schools defenders of the Earth" coding activities and  EU Code Week published it!!!

With the different events we are planning for Code week this year
 We aimed to improve the coding skill, which is among the basic skills of the 21st century.

We did a computer coding activity on the interactive board in our classroom. We tried to get our cute turtle Tospaa to reach the target without getting stuck in the way of obstacles.
