TASK 1: DECODING PHOTOGRAPHS
AIMS
- Describe, analyse, interpret and evaluate photograps in a collaborative way working in international Jamboard teams.
- Develop visual literacy skills
- Develop critical thinking by applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information based on observation, experience, reflection and reasoning- decoding a photograph and by understanding how a photo can be spread and how the story behind it can have been manipulated.
- Encourage learners to think about diversity and discrimination and help them understand their own views and choices: Stories that Move (Developed by the Anne Frank House & partners.
- Construct meaning from images by understanding partners feelings and illustrating them.

Students read/watch news about the photo and reflect on the issues depicted within a group discussion jamboard to evaluate it.
