Everyone at SP118 read this schoolyear's story "The Horse for the Emperor" by Bruno Ferrero very carefully and we were analysing the value it carries - BEING PERSEVERANT. This is what we did:
1. In their Englash classes, Year 5c were learning new words and experssions conncected with being pereseverant, such as "hang in there", "never give up" or "go through with it".
Then the children created posters illustaring the idioms. They had great fun!
2. English Drama Club created their own script for the play based on the story. They put it on stage and won the first proze in the City Competition for School Drama Clubs! Well done!
Have a look at the actresses doing a brilliant job!
