uFor C1, the selection will be applied on teachers, as it is a joint-staff training event. The teachers have to be the coordinator with advanced English skills or another English teacher, Biology, PE teacher.
uFor C1, teachers work together in order to create presentations about the problem of obesity in their school and country, statistical data, measures taken by the authorities in order to combat the phenomenon etc. In preparation for C1, the TR team sends the timetable and activities at least 10 days before the start of the event. Each contact person makes the logistic arrangements in collaboration with the host contact person – buying local transport tickets, reserving accommodation. Flight tickets, travel insurance and health insurance are purchased. Participants take cultural preparation lessons, language lessons and they perform the topic-related tasks.
uBefore C2-C9, the host partner presents details about their culture, rules of behavior etc. that they send to the other partners. The preparation for C2- C9 is topic-related (4-5 hours), linguistic (5-6 hours), cultural (2-3 hours), pedagogical (3 hours). The preparation will be provided by teachers – topic- related (Biology, PE teachers), cultural (coordinator), linguistic (English teacher), pedagogical (coordinator, counsellor).
