Kucukai  are one of the food which the Lithuanian prepare for Christmas !

 

Now you can see how kids from Kedainiai make them ! Maybe you can try it next year ! It is very easy !
The first ,
Make the dough ( flour , water and salt ) for kuciukai
make a long worm from it
then cut it and finally bake in the oven

It's delicious !!!!!!:)

 

 

Our students usually forget the rulers how they have to behave during the breaks at school!

Our teachers organised The Wellness Breaks Week in our school !

It was useful  for their health and funny !

Canada

Here is a collaborative Visual Art/Social Studies project about Canada by grade 3 and 11 students. The students were each asked to research a different region in Canada. A grade 3 student was matched with a grade 11 student at a school on the other side of the city. All students learned about their country, tried using new art mediums (materials), made new friends and worked together to create a piece of beautiful art that represented the region of Canada they studied. A mini art show was held at the end and each group was asked to share information about their region, what it was like to use new art mediums and what it was like to work with a student of a different age. I am very proud of the student work that went into this project!

Poland

In October, the leaves fall from the trees. They lay on the ground. They covered our kindergarten playground. We decided to help the school cleaners with the removal of the leaves. It's also our playground.

It is a good tradition to clean the place near the kindergarten ! Try to do near your school or kindergarten !

CROATIA

Yesterday, the 12 th of October,  we celebrated International White Cane Day (November 15th). My pupils were talking about blind persons and their needs. They put themselfs in blind person position and tried to walk with closed eyes. They were talking about feeling they felt during walking with and witout help. They learned how to offer help to blind person. Also, they saw Braille and wrote their names with dots.

Potato is the main food for lithuanian dishes ! There are a lot of recipe where Lithuanian people use potatoes such as cepelinai, vedarai, different soup! 
Our kids want to show how they can use potatoes for games !
And  this activity helps kids develop skills  and experiment ! There are  the stamps made of potatoes.  Then kids use it on the paper ! It is a good game and children get a lot of pleasure from this activity!

CANADA

Our friends from Canada shared with us their own experience about DOT DAY. They usually celebrate this day or create a project for this day every year !

Miranda describe the activities !

"Here is a project we did for 'Dot Day'. The pictures should be turned upright. Students created life size shadow outlines of their bodies and they were filled with coloured circles. This lesson covered many objectives and different subject areas."

 

 

 The Dot Day is on the 15 th of September however our partners from Lithuania (Kedainiai) wanted to try to celebrate this day later ! It was really great day! Kids had fun together! Kids and their teachers would like to share with you !
Now they will celebrate this day next year, because this day brought a lot of merriment, happiness and good result:) Children repeated math and created many drawings using colorful dots.

It's interesting day for little kids because kids can play, draw and they learn a shape such as a circle :)

It's very easy game ! But to play with balloons is very interesting activity ! It  learn us play with friends and to be friendly, to sare with friends. Finally It's fine to spend the time with new friends ! .
