    Collaboration with Associations

On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, we received in our school the collaboration of the centers: Frida Kahlo, Carpe Diem, and the Airtea Association.
We are very grateful for such collaboration as we provide materials that they use for awareness events and help people with different abilities.
What allows us to work is the positive side of advertising and consumption, while working on the knowledge of inclusion and different capacities.
Since thanks to advertising, we also organize: charity events, solidarity events, we receive positive information ...
All borrowed material will be posted visibly from the gallery of the school.
So that the entire educational community can see it and what we can work with our students.

    PUPILS' ANSWERS
    CONCLUSIONS

Advertisements rarely include people with different abilities or needs. They should include more
Publicity can help society to be aware of differences between people: capacities, needs, etc by giving them visibility, spreading messages of Inclusion and promoting Equality, Respect and Dignity

    STUDENTS' ACTIVITIES

Before watching and reading the ads that every country has chosen, Italian students have created a wordcloud with all the words that they link with the topic INCLUSION.

After watching and reading the ads, pupils have discussed about what we normally find in the world of advertisment which is for them full of stereotypes: models should be good-looking, overall white skin, be happy, be perfect and encourage to think that a consumistic society represents our ideal way of life and that we exist if we buy and if we are all similar to our modern consumistic models. (ITALY)

    STUDENTS' ANSWERS AND CONCLUSION

Students think that we must break stereotypes, we should have more educational ads that inform people and educate them, for example to overcome diversity and differences among people in the world and in our European countries. People are different and unfortunately being different is seen like a problem and not as a gift.
In conclusion pupils like ads that include people with different needs and abilities more than the ones with persons who are not real. They also think how important is for them as our future generation to be active in breaking human barriers starting from their families, friends, relatives and schoolmates in promoting RESPECT, DIVERSITY, FRIENDSHIP, PEACE and DIGNITY but also in boycotting labels and companies that use advertising in a wrong way. Lino.it on inclusion

Croatian students shared their thoughts on inclusion in advertisements by answering questions on Lino.it. They all think advertisements sometimes include people with different abilities or needs, but not always and they should include them more often because some people with different abilities are ashamed of themselves and they should not be, everyone is beautiful and unique in their own way. Publicity/ads can help society be aware of differences between people if they made ads with different, but equal people.

    Inclusion in advertisement

Here are the thoughts which Croatian pupils posted.
