Collaboration between partner schools (Demet Aslanbey)

    Our project combines 31 teachers, 295 students from 7 different countries.During the project we used Twinspace journal page, materials part, teachers bulletin ,forum part and online meeting parts mostly.

    *To communicate in a fast and effective way I created a Whatsapp group and Facebook group.Nearly all partners join our Whatsapp group which is fast and powerful way to exchange ideas.

    *First example of collaboration between partners was the activity of choosing the logo of our project. This is the link of our logo survey. There were 22 logos in the survey and we had 218 responses at the end.With the decision of all partners we decided to use a gif including all logos created by all partners.It was the sybol of great collaboration among  partners.

    *We often use forum part to share ideas.We used there to create activities such as wordart activity. Our pupils used there to upload their wordarts.Also we used forum part for mixed country teams in December. We organised small groups to exchange New Year Cards and we share our ideas there.Here is the link of forum part.

    *We used chatroom to decide our words. It was a way of collaboration because writing in chatroom allows us to exchange ideas. As partners I and Laura never decide the words alone. We always asked our partners about both the words and activities for each month.

    *Online meetings were another way to show collaboration among us.

    *As an example of collaboration between partner schools, we created mixed country teams for December's task in the forum part. Each partner choosed their own team and prepared New Year cards and some small gifts for eachother. It was a wonderful activity for our pupils. They liked waiting for the posts and gifts.

    We decorated or board with the cards sent by our partners and my pupils were so happy with the small presents.

    *All partners have the chance to collaborate in padlet.We all discussed the words of Autumn theme in padlet also. Each partner wrote their ideas and we choosed the most likd ones.This is the link of our padlet to collaborate for Autumn theme words.

    *When all the schoos were closed because of Corona virus pandemi,we did the best as an example of cooperation in our project.We decided not to stop our project, we wanted to develop it in these terrible times with the solidarity messages. I created a padlet page which could show the great cooperation, communication and kindness in our project.This is the link of it.The title of this padlet reflects the silver lining which is 'everything will be fine'.

    *Our pupils created snapwords and we wanted to make this activity a little bit funnier by creating a challange so we uploaded all snapwords to the padletThen I created a survey to choose the winners.Here is the link of this survey.We had 24 snapwords in the survey and we had 726 responses.It was a great number for us.I created certificates for the winners and all of us celebrate the winners.All partners in the project were so eager to take part in the activities and we worked hard and willingly.

    *All partners took an active part in the activity of European Day of Languages.We told tonguetwisters in our native languages.It took the attention of my pupils to different languages. They wanted to learn what the meaning of these tonguetwisters. So this activity let them to search for the meaning of them.This is the video of this activity.

    *To coopertae in decision about words we used different tools like tricider.It asked the ideas of us  about card exchange.All activities in the project asked the ideas of all partners and let us to brainstorm on all activities.The link of tricider.

    *To cope with awful period of lockdown I had a wonderful idea which allows great cooperation between both partners and pupils. I created a photography competition.Here is the padlet link of it in which we uploaded the photos taken by our pupils and also taken by us from the windows and balconies. With the help of this activity we supported each other in that terrible time and took the attention of all to the importance of staying at home.Then I created a survey to choose the winners.Here are the results.We had 125 responses and 71 photos which showed the great contribution of all partners.

    *As another examples for great collaboration between partners we created two ebooks, one included our students' wordclouds, the other was a dictionary included both our students' drawings and explanation of words both in English and in our mother tongues.Especially in the dictionary activity partners choosed the words or idioms thew wanted.Here is the link of the document showing sharing the words.

    *As final work we collaborated in AWW App by creating pages showing the works of our pupils. Each page required two partners so they organised their page together.Here is the link of it.This is the photo of my and Laura's AWW App page. We worked together.
