SEPTEMBER 2019
Our Capital - Bucuresti
In September the project was introduced to the children from the 1st grade and their parents. All the parents gave their approval for filming/ taking pictures.
The 1st graders made a short presentation video of their school/ class on a very cold day. :)
We prepared our poster .......
......and logo.
We took part in the logo competition and we were ranked 2nd! :) Soo lucky!!! :))
We celebrated European Day of Languages with a common video in which we presented a native tongue-twister, in order to introduce our language to the other partners. Our video is the last and our tongue twister is: "Stanca sta-n castan, ca Stan!"
We started preparing our project portfolios by making the cover with the title of the project and our interpretation.
OCTOBER 2019
In October the first online teacher meeting took place in the chatroom and we chose two sets of words, age appropriate.
We started working for the Autumn board: drawing and cutting small apple leaves on which we wrote all the 10 words.
We logged on the eTwinning platform and watched our colleagues' videos and activities.
We played the online games (cram games) especially designed for us by the teachers involved in the project.
We worked on various worskeets, completed wordsearches and played bingo.
We finished the board in our classroom.

Match up - Game
It was such a pleasure to design snapwords. We also organized a voting competition.
DECEMBER 2019
in December we had so much fun! We sent and received cards from our partners. They also sent us words to learn, colour, and hang in our Christmas tree, stickers and other surprises. We liked the colouring books the most!
JANUARY - WORDCLOUDS
In January my pupils learned to design wordart projects with our winter words.
FEBRUARY - IDIOMS
We learnt and illustrated some funny idioms.
MARCH
March came with unpleasant surprises... All schools were closed and we had to reorganize all our activities. Instead of continuing with our Spring theme, we decided to organize a solidarity exhibition with the title ”Everything will be fine!”
Everything will be fine
APRIL
In April we took part in a photography competition among the “Tree of English Words” project team. The aim was to emphasize the importance of staying at home. So, we asked for the photos taken from the windows, balconies or gardens of our pupils' houses.

MAY
In May we evaluated the project with Mentimeter
We organized a common work activity in a mixed team. My partner was Demet Aslanbey and we shared a page on which we expressed our thoughts about our project.
Monika Khan, our partner from Poland had a great final theme for our project: a picture dictionary that included some of the words and idioms that we learned in our project. We chose letters A for “apple” and U for “umbrella”.
We also used Wakelet for evaluating our activities within the project.
