    14/10/2019 à 19:01 - odjenv: Sounds great. Today the secobd group among my younger students played the german kahoot questions. They enjoyed it so much that they wrote new questions for you all. This should be finished tomorrow by the other group through my new kahoot account๐Ÿ˜‰. From tomorrow my students fo not have my class before one month. Next class on nov 18th. I wiuld lije to start your task in probabilities then.

    What do you want to do? Students do pi experiment and record a video explaining the experience and share a spreadsheet with their data.
    Do you both like this idea?
    If so I can open a page to share the videos and another one with a share spreadsheet.

Later I could offer to write the assessment sheet through the app mentimeter.com since my school paid to have access to this app. We need students players to kahoot first.

    21/10/2019 à 08:44 - odjenv: My students are on autumn holidays till nov 4th. Thus I cannot see them for two weeks. I will read the twinspace by the end of this week and check the strange solutions you found. Strange algorithms  are possible from the french side since i could not check them all. This class has 36 students one hour weekly with me alone as the teacher. My first  priority was then that students get motivation to write and to post they algorithm. Since this first goal is now reached i will check better next time. When my students could not answer some algorithms from partners i told them to post a question in return. For now i am teaching two full days as a teacher trainer and the 3rd day is all for my very old parents. Just give me the end of this week!๐Ÿ˜‰

I always thought the work with the algorithms is just a rational warm up, but: those students, whose birthday had been figured out by your students, were really happy and excited about that ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป. I really liked that ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป.

    They're supposed to solve some more as a homework ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป.
    23/10/2019 à 20:30 - Imhof Daniel: Thanks Inma to add the pages regarding the pi-activity. I've got a question on that: in the third step of discovering pi, they're asked to calculate the area of the circle -- but they will do it using their calculator and using pi, won't they?

    I just don't to get it wrong, so please tell me, if they're allowed to use pi from their calculator or not ๐Ÿค”

    29/10/2019 à 19:21 - odjenv: As promissed before I wrote a subpage hosting evaluation of algorithms task. I thought of experiencing the embedded tools called twinpoll and discussion. Surprisingly I  could not find the way to add a second question in the poll. This subpage is not published yet waiting for your opinion. Is it efficient enough this way or should I use another tool as google form for a more detailed inquiry?
