TRAINING SESSION FOR THE TEACHERS OF D’ALESSANDRO-VOCINO SCHOOL
Over 150 teachers and school managers took part in the national seminar of the network “Avanguardie Educative” on 28th and 29th October 2019 in Vasto at the School ISS “ E. Mattei”.
The event was part of the project "Processes of organizational and methodological Innovation", with the aim of spreading innovative ideas of transformation of the educational model in Italy.
Avanguardie Educative is an action-research project born from the Indire (National Institute of Documentation, Innovation and Educational Research) with the aim of investigating possible propagation strategies and innovation in the Italian school. Its mission is to identify, support and disseminate educational practices and models aimed at changing the organization of Didactics, Time and Space of 'doing school' in a knowledge-based society in constant evolution.
The innovative methodologies aim to make students active learners, accompanied by teachers through cooperative activities, work groups, flipped classromm thus promoting the development of cross-type skills, learning to learn, being able to speak in public and to be even more protagonist of their own training path. We are facing so-called digital natives, we cannot think of doing school without technology and we need to bring young people closer to using their media even within the school.
