Once upon a time in a far far away land in the middle of nowhere...

There lives a sad young man, alone in an old ruined mansion isolated from all the rest. His name is Romeu but he was known in the village as Adamastor. Everyone is afraid of him and avoids him because he wears a big wooden mask to hide a ugly thick scar that crosses his right cheek from his eye to his mouth. No-one in the village ever knew neither what happened to his face nor why he is used to wearing this scary mask. Romeu is now used to the people's suspicious and frightened looks he has dealt with since the accident. He never goes out in day time. He spends the day in his mansion making mask for a big shop in Venice and leaves the mansion during the night wearing his wooden mask to bring food to the homeless of the village. He has been doing that for two years now and has made a special friend Jasmine with whom he has been spending an hour talking to every night.

Jasmine was a poor ,simple and sweet girl .She was helping Romeu in what he was doing because she  always loved charity and the well doing . The beautiful girl never cared about the way he looked and she fell in  love despite she didn't know the reason for him to wear  that mask. One day after he spent five days working hard and making masks, the shop refused to deal with him and they fired him for unknown reasons. Jasmine knew what happened to Romeu and she tried to find a new job for him .But she couldn't achieve her goal because people never cared about skills and abilities, they judged him because of his ugly face. While she was thinking about the bad behaviour of people, an old woman sat next to her (she listened to what she was saying) and she said: "people's prejudices can't put you down they make you  stronger". And then she gave her medicine to help Romeu and then life became more beautiful and full of happiness.

So one day Jasmine found out the truth about Romeu's scar. When Romeu was young and drunk he got into a fight with an unknown man. Romeu attacked that man without any reason but the man took a knife and cut Romeu in self-defense. Romeu had a gun, shot that man and murdered him. After hearing that, Jasmine didn't want to see Romeu ever again. Romeu was so sad because Jasmine had left him, so he killed himself by jumping of the clif near by the mansion.
