  • Teacher’s mobility

Due to the pandemic situation, the last Staff training event took place through out the  Google Meet.  At the virtual meeting were present 45 teachers from all the partners countries .
As the Internet  and  the  modern  technologies is  the  most  complex  form  of  integration  of  informal education  into  formal education and as the Pandemic period forced us as teachers to focus on a different approach of the teaching process, during this mobility we focused on the a ICT training. As lately, there has been a change of approach, highlighted in particular by the creation of so numerous digital tools,  it is impeding for our teacher the acquisition   of new e-skills and their integration into the instructive process.
All educational system has to respond to the challenge of passing the level of e-competence formation and be able, by changing the educational paradigm, to offer students specific competences, relevant to the use of technologies as: - problem solving and decision making; - development of critical and creative thinking; - collaboration, communication and negotiation, - intellectual curiosity, courage and integrity, and, perhaps most importantly, digital literacy.

This was a virtual mobility for teachers from Romania, Poland, Italy and Croatia. During those days, teachers from each country showed us ways how to use different digital tools and platforms to learn language with their students.

The host was a teacher from Croatia, Klementina Đurić.

On a first day teachers Hrvoje Golubić, Zoran Dorontić and Klementina Đurić show us how they work on daily basis. Hrvoje Golubić intoduce us a platform IZZI for teaching English language. It has videos, pictures, comics, exerecises, sound recordings,..He presented the way he teach language using an IZZI platform. Zoran Dorontić talked about his project in physical. He use ICT in his teaching: Office 365 and mobile aplications such as Strava or Adidas running for runners and Endomondo (speed, calories, distance, heart rate). The last presenter was Klementina Đurić who presented wide range of digital tools for learning language. She presented lessons about learning Croatian language using ICT - Wakelet, Canva, Quizziz, Wordwall and also a platform IZZI.

On a second day Giovanna Mercurio introduce us a WebQuest and told us about that application. Then she talked about how she used WebQuest in a classroom with students. She showed us good examples of using WebQuest for student’s projects.

Third day was for Polish team. Anna Mroz-Juchacz was presenting Gennialy, tool for creating visual and interactive content. Katrzyna Wojcik showed us that Canva Education is good for education, a tool for creating graphics and modern design. After Katrzyna, Maria Pirecka presented tool called Nearpod with lots of possibilities. We even had time for playing game called Climbing. Last presenter that day was Lidia Sroka-Polowy – Wordwall is a digital tool but it is an easy way to create your own teaching resources. It has many games to really learn languages in so many ways.

Last day was for Romanian team. Our coordinator Sonia Dumitrascu presented digital tool Ed-puzzle. It is online tool for interactive lessons with students. We saw how she use this tool in teaching. After that, we’ve all come to conclusion that we all use those digital tools for our teaching languages and for teaching students with special needs. Also, ICT is really necessary in this days of COVID pandemic.
