This activity C4 was originally planned for June 2020, nevertheless, due to the sanitary situation it was delayed until November 2021 when we are retaking our Erasmus mobilities.
Schools Andrés García Soler from Spain, Beacon Church from England, Osnovna sola Planina pri Sevnici from Slovenia, Istituto Comprensivo San Rocco from Italy and 3rd Primary School from Greece, took part in this teachers training and meeting event in Faenza, Italy.
Participants in this activity were:
3 teachers from Andrés García Soler School.
2 teachers from The Beacon Church School.
2 teachers from 3rd Primary School Grevená.
3 teachers from Osnovna sola Planina pri Sevnici.
Teachers and students from Istituto Comprensivo San Rocco.
Participant teachers had the chance to improve their digital skills in a training course about Google Workspace and learning apps. Besides, certain time was devoted to organization and evaluation meetings where the next mobilities and activities were dated and discussed. To finish, teachers had time for job shadowing some lessons and learn from the local environment and traditional jobs in the area, mainly ceramics.

The results of this activity can be shown in an accurate reorganization schedule of the following mobilities and activities that should be done in the incoming months after our project was affected and postponed due to sanitary situation. Moreover, an intermediate evaluation report has been developed after individual evaluation from the different schools on the first part of our project and improvement suggestions for the second part of it. These conclusions can be seen in our project E-twinning page.
How did the participation in this activity benefit the involved participants?
The main benefits for the participants are:
- Deeper knowledge of Google Workspace and the different apps that can be applied in our daily teaching routines.
- Knowledge of free Chrome extensions and their use in the Primary classroom.
- Teachers learnt from other Italian colleagues through job shadowing and sharing teaching experiences and resources.
- Participants learnt about local traditional jobs and its evolution until nowadays, from ancient ceramic techniques to modern workshop.
- Participants improved their linguistic abilities in the English language as all the planned activities and interaction among teachers were always in the foreign language.
- Participants also had the chance to visit some historical cities, learn about their history, appreciate their main monuments and develop social skills.
- Participants received a certificate of attendance for the different activities and participation in the mobility.
