    Volunteering in an elderly house

In the last week of this school semester, the students of the "Traian Vuia" Auto College in Târgu-Jiu, under the coordination of their teachers, organized and carried out a charitable action in support of the elders from the "Grandparents' House" Center, in the town of Cornești, Bălești commune. In this regard, they gathered from food donations, from which they made packages and went to the headquarters of the center to bring a piece of joy to grandparents on the verge of celebration. They were welcomed by them with much warmth and gratitude, they spoke and they supported a short artistic program, interpreting carols, and in the end they gave the old people good wishes for the new year.

    "A heart for children"

Volunteers and from Primary School No. 2 in Olsztyn and their teachers who are responsible for the Volunteers' Clun in our school, at Christmas period carried our a charity campaign for sick children who are taken care of by Home Hospice Caritas in Olsztyn. Students, their parents and all the employees at our school were very involved in the course of the action. We collected a huge amount of cosmetics, hygiene products, stationery and sweets. The result of the campaign exceeded our wildest expectations. We donated the gifts to the Home Hospice and then they were transferred to sick children but also their siblings. It is worth mentioning that our students not only created the presents but also created some beautiful Christmas cards with Christmas wishes.
