February assignments

  • Step 1: Let students brainstorm global issues that are threatening our planet and relate these issues to SDGs. You can do that by either bringing or letting them bring news to class and discuss them, using songs like "Where is the Love" or videos.

You can take part in the dicussion below and identify the global issue that worries you the most and why.

Please scrool down the page to find the discussion forum.

Step 2: Students will think of a community problem, related to one SDG, that matters to them and describe it. In their description they should include:

    1. What the problem is

    2.Who it affects the most

    3. What causes it

    4. What happens if it is not solved

NOTE: it has to be a real concrete problem that they feel needs to be solved.

Pupils will publish their descriptions HERE

It is important to have this assignment done by 28th February, so we can start organising for our collaborative activity by matching students in different teams according to the issues they have identified in their communities.

The objective is to find common problems so that students fro different cultural contexts will be able to collaborate on designing an action or an awareness campaign to be implemented during the month of April.

We will also use our private facebook group to monitor the project activities and discuss issues and challenges we come by.
