GREECE - KAVALA

A Learning / Teaching / Training Activity took place in Kavala, Greece from 04.03.2019 to 08.03.2019. The transnational meeting was attended by 25 students and 14 teachers from the partner’s schools in Greece, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, The UK and Turkey. The host school was “1 EPAL Kavalas”.In this meeting students presented the market research they have carried out regarding the products which are the most typical ones in their countries. In the product presentation every partner exhibited the product characteristics, and the reason why they consider it will be a successful product in different markets. By means of these activities, students recognized the importance of the selection of a product according to a specific area which is closely related to its culture. As we are living in a society where people compare products, look for information, sell and buy from the Internet, etc., students have seen the economic movements related to some articles and the way they can benefit the economy of an area. Workshop, to produce the selected Greek product, was organized by the host school. The international group also visited some small local enterprises to learn more about the production of traditional Greek sweets.
