BULGARIA - SLIVEN

A Learning / Teaching / Training Activity took place in Sliven, Bulgaria from 07.10.2019 to 11.10.2019. The transnational meeting was attended by 36 students and 18 teachers from the partner’s schools in Greece, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Scotland and Turkey. The host school was “Secondary Vocational School of Economics Prof. Dr. Dimitar Tabakov”. In this meeting the students presented the principles of effective logo design; the logo design process; the choice of their logo; the slogan of their company and the research they had made on packaging and labeling regulations. The students explained the idea behind their package design and the mandatory information on the boxes of their products.  During a workshop the Bulgarian students demonstrated the manufacturing process and packaging of their products. The hosts organized a concert with the participation of the school folk dances club. The partners visited Colorit Press print house in Gorna Oryahovitsa. The visit was related to the topic of the meeting – “Packaging design and regulations”. The participants learned about graphic design and prepress operations; printing and gluer machines; packaging and boxes and printing techniques. The cultural programme included a visit of the village of Zheravna - an architectural and museum reserve; the natural park “The Blue Stones”; Veliko Tarnovo – the medieval capital of Bulgaria, Nessebar - an ancient city and one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and the capital Sofia.
