Interviews

  • We had interviews with some of our former students.

Mia and Sara had an interview with a former school teacher, Miroslav Šantek.  He has 92 years and he started to work when he was 20. He taught Croatian and Russian. Here are some differences compared to today …

The classes were more numerous, there were about 40 students in the classroom. Students spent up to 6 hours a day at school. PE were done in the classroom or outside. There were no computers and the students played more.

Jana interviewed a musician and composer, Mr. Goran Topolovac. He liked school, especially school trips. His favorite subject was Geography, and he didn't like Math and Chemistry. During the break they were playing.

Laura Ana and Adrian interviewed Nikica Spudić, diver, member of the Mountain Rescue Service and winner of the award Pride of Croatia. He was an excellent student but he wanted to be outside more than in school.

Karla and Lorena had an interview with Maca Maradona, Croatian football player.
