Activity 7: Language board game

  • What better way to further the students' knowledge of different countries and their languages than by designing a fun board game? This game will test how well they have mastered different languages and learnt about other countries!

    Language board game – The students created their own board game with questions in different languages and about the different countries. The board game questions have multiple choice answers for younger learners. If older students are playing the game then the card reader not read the multiple choice answers. The board can be a combination of project logos.

    Why do the activity – We learn about all the countries in the project and practice our language skills

    The students in each country begin to create the game board. The questions are ready as well as the audios with words in different languages.

    Students are recording words in their language and in English, for the board game, we are learning words in foreign languages.( India)
     
     
    In this tool, we have the words in the different languages, for the Board Game, you can learn therefore Hindi, Zulú and Japanesse, using the recorded sounds, if you want to know what the word is, click on the camera.
