  • Prilep meeting report, ERASMUS+ FESAC project

    In the period from 17 to 19 October 2019. The school SOEPTU "Kuzman Josifoski - Pitu" - Prilep, hosted professors from Hungary, Lithuania, Spain, Italy and Croatia in the framework of the project "Financial and Entrepreneurial Skills for Active Citizenship", which is part of the Erasmus​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​+​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ program whose coordinator is Professor of Informatics Msc. Mimoza Mijos​​​​​​​ka.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

    ​​Participants in the first day visited the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia (NBRMS) where they were introduced to the​​​​​​​ work of the National Bank in detail. They also visited the Money Museum loc​​​​​​​ated in the NBRMS premises. Afterwards the guests were introduced to the cultural and historical past of the city of Skopje. In the afternoon they visit​​​​​​​ed the Matka Canyon and the outer Vrelo Cave, whose untouched beauty left the guests breathless.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

    ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​On the second working day the project participants visited the Municipality of Prilep and had a meeting with the Mayor Ilija Jovanoski who wished them a pleasant stay in Prilep. The participants paid a working visit to the tobacco factory in Prilep and the food factory "Vitamnika" - Prilep. As part of the project activities a lecture on "Different tools and products for investin​​​​​​​g money for business financing" was held by the professor from the Faculty of Economics​​​​​​​ Dr. Snezana Mojsovska - Salamovska. In the afternoon, a workshop was held where each team presented in detail the results of the project work.
    In the evening KUD "Mominok" performed in front of the guests and presented the Macedonian dances and dances. A workshop was also held in which guests were
    ​​​​​​​ trained ​​​​​​​how to play Macedoni​​​​​​​an dances.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

    On the third day the guests visited the monastery of St. Naum and the historical - cultural sights of the pearl in the Balkans - the city of Ohrid, which captivated the project participants with their beauty and they wished to come here again.
    The aim of the FESAC project funded by the European Commission through the National Agency for European Education Programs and Mobility is to provide students with an insight into the world of money, economics and finance, to foster entrepreneurship and develop an entre
