Objectives and concrete results

  • Objectives to achieve and concrete results to produce

The project was formulated through meetings that each school had with its own internal branches, some representatives of local businesses and financial institutions to define the needs of society and the students for their integration into a social life and labour market; the teachers identified the cultural obstacles inside the classroom, defined the needs and the level of financial literacy of the students, as a result they shared some common goals.

At the end of the financial education project, students will have acquired financial knowledge and skills to be able to have them available in the immediate future to face concrete situations; - the best skills in spending, investing their money, recognising the value of a simple personal budget in a family environment and managing savings wisely; they will be able to recognize the most relevant characteristics of daily and less commonly used financial instruments and products to create an enterprise, considering the subsequent financial implications. The acquisition of these high-qality
skills and competencies will help improve the professional orientation of students and motivate them to learn in the perspective of their inclusion in the labour market and the needs of society.

The knowledge in the economic-financial field, and the high-quality skills and competences acquired, will allow the students to become consumers and informed citizens and therefore aware of the opportunities and financial risks to build their own personal and social welfare. This is the main educational goal.
Working on this project will also allow teachers and broadly the school to obtain concrete results because they will be able to share the best practices and specific high-quality skills of the partners of different schools and institutes with different branches; to incorporate in their curricula the new work patterns tested; to improve the teaching of the English language in a practical context; to improve the whole school curriculum on the subject of financial education and entrepreneurship.

The concrete results, in addition to those included in the various LTTAs, are:

    • an Erasmus+ Club organized every two months in each school to disseminate the project and its results and the evaluations after each meeting.
    • a "Dictionary of financial education" with the terms in use in the common language of finance, it will be a good tool for the sustainability in long term of the project
    • "A cross curricular approach to the financial and entrepreneurial education Ebook", which will contain the best teaching practices, and it will be the main tool to disseminate the results of the whole project inside the partner schools and outside
    • the project Logo: competition among all students of each school.
    • a Web page (this website) )to disseminate the project, the activities and the products realized; a closed Fb group for easier communication between the partners and a Fb group to disseminate the project and its results.
