  • Italien Legends.pptx

    Group members:

    Joan Sarrá

    Kristóf Baranyai

    Vanessa D'Azzeo

    Eric Fritsch

    Tim Heilmeier

    Rafael Vinkovic

    Task:

Collect all the Italian legends and folk tales your fellow students have found and analyse them.

The following questions will help you:

What are the stories about? Are there common themes or topics?

How are the stories told? (Think of narrative perspective; style...etc.)

Can you find similarities between them?

If you haven't done so already: Find something out about the place they are still told. Can you discover why those stories emerged?

Now prepare a short presentation about it.

In a next step, change groups so every group will consist of someone who knows about German, Spanish / Catalan, Hungarian and Italian legends. Share what you have found in the group and compare your findings.

    Again, ask yourself:

Are there common themes or topics?

Are the stories told in a similar way? Is the storyline similar?

Can you find a pattern which seems to underly some/most of the stories?

Now think about an interesting way to introduce your fellow students to the topic. You might also want to explain what superstitions actually are and where do they come from.

Don't forget to test your fellow students' knowledge at the end!
