Because of the nature of all our activities, especially Virtual ones, we used real video and photographic footage featuring our students. However, where personal information was given to get to know partners, this never included full names neither addresses.   All parents, following our schools’ policies, had agreed to their children featuring in video, photos, press articles and social media in all school related activities, such as this project, where relevant. Students used a WhatsApp group to communicate, as their preferred method, but this was a closed group and parents agreed and celebrated this initiative as it created a real communication context for students, which contributed to the success of the project.

When sharing sensitive information, such as login details for our Google Account, this was only available to etwinning members.
