    J. Ezana

My best experience was when we did the carnival as it allowed me to dance, sing and blow my whistle whilst wearing a Spanish flag and a hat- decorated in the school

    J. Ezana

I have not only become more aware of the typical Spanish language but have also improved my accent as well as my vocabulary. I personally think it is very helpful and for the future I will take part in more exchanges with the most previous one being in June (they come to us).

    J.Ezana

Inspiring, entertaining, daunting (in beginning), interesting and emotional (in the end)

    I. Mitchell

it definitely opened me up to the possibility of doing Spanish for A-level. Then as I would like to be a lawyer, maybe taking part in Spanish and English cases, in which knowledge of both languages is required.

    I. Mitchell

    Something I will never forget!

    I. Mitchell

I loved going out with the Erasmus kids after we had done a day of activities. Even though we were exhausted, everyone had a great time ether going out for dinner or playing at a nearby park. Its so cool to play with people our own age who speak another language, yet we get along so well! These few times going out were the most memorable and brought everyone closer together.

    R. Garrard

My favourite experience was the carnival. I enjoyed it so much, because it was so different from the culture in England. I have never experienced such an intense, friendly and magnificent atmosphere at an event before.

    R. Garrard

A huge impact is the improvement of my languages ear. After spending just a few days there I could already feel my listening skills improve as I was involved in general conversations and watching television shows in Spanish. Now I am seriously considering doing Spanish for A-Level.

    R. Garrard

    Shocking, exciting, different, enthralling, beautiful.

    C. Connolly

I now definitely wish to pursue Spanish in my school experience and the extended future. Best week of my life!

    E. Pickles

I learnt new vocab to add and how to pronounce words.
I learnt about their school, festivals and geographical areas such as Toledo.
Amazing, warm, fun, beautiful and unforgettable

    C. Hardick

My best experience was the lagoons. I enjoyed going out in groups on the water in boats. I also enjoyed going around Toledo for the day and learning a bit of history about the city, while also enjoying some free time. The carnival was also an invaluable experience and isn’t something you do every day, so I was lucky to participate in that. I enjoyed spending time with the family an learning about their values and what they enjoy doing.

    C. Hardick

I plan to take Spanish for GCSEs and then to A Level. I aim to use my Spanish skills and speaking in my future job when I am older. I enjoy English, history and geography also and I want to incorporate my Spanish into that someway.

    J. Beeney

My favourite activity was bowling with the Erasmus kids. It gave me a chance to learn more everyday language than I would in a classroom as well as being able to learn more about the Spanish people.

    J. Beeney

I am a single linguist so I was always going to take Spanish at GCSE and most likely A-Level. But after being in Albacete I think my mark will have taken a dramatic boost. BEST. WEEK. OF. MY. LIFE!!!!

    W. Biggs

I think that my best experience was staying with my host family as it gave me an enormous insight into Living in a different country and gave me a chance to practice my Spanish. This has change my view of the Spanish language because I have seen how It is spoken in conversation.

    G. Collier

I learnt about the Spanish culture and in particular how some of the stereotypical Spanish traits e.g siestas aren't true. I improved my Spanish and it was interesting comparing the Spanish school system to ours

    G. Collier

It's made me more comfortable and confident speaking Spanish. Though we didn't learn much vocabulary by speaking Spanish for the week, it reinforced our use of endings and sentence formation so that you no longer have to think about it and everything starts coming together without much thought.
