Cyprus - A wave of hands

This spot is about the children’s adventure in the sea, who in their effort to escape the dangers of war at their country, they board a boat to Greece. It is also about the Greek volunteers’ role in rescuing them. Students were inspired by stories they read in the book «Through their eyes, 12 children, 12 stories, 12 dreams of tomorrow», by Greek author Fotini Constantopoulou to write the poems in this spot.
