CLASSROOM LIBRARY
What is a library?
We know the classroom library with the help of the 3-year-old students.
We have explained the Classroom Library to them and they have learned that it is the place where books live. That books tell us funny stories and help us learn.
They have also known some rules: they speak low, they take care of the books, they are placed with care, etc.

Including books in our daily routines is a priority. In Platon School, each classroom has a library that the children use for both organised activities and for free play. Taking advantage of this activity, we firstly explored what books we can find in our library and spend some time reading them and playing with them. Afterward, we discuss how we should keep our library tidy. Then we also decorated the library area with BOOK STORY project logo and our partners' flags to remind us of the love we all share for books!
We also visited our school's main library. We explored the books, met ms. Yiota the librarian, asked her questions about the library and we finally created our small books.
Such fun activities that made the children more familiar with libraries and books!

In all our classrooms we created the small reading spaces where we can enjoy reading books each moment during the day. It is very nice and useful.
